The Pistol is looking for a Senior Client Manager to join our growing Melbourne team.
This is a strategic client leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strong client partnerships, performance media and integrated campaign delivery.
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of well-known brands spanning retail, finance, lifestyle and culture — leading performance strategy while collaborating closely with creative, technical and media partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who can confidently lead clients through both short and long-term media strategy, challenge thinking where required, and bring strong channel expertise across paid social, search and broader media ecosystems.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable:
* leading senior client conversations,
* setting realistic KPIs and growth strategies,
* diving into platform optimisations,
* and coordinating delivery across internal and external teams.
You'll be supported by offshore implementation resources, while remaining responsible for strategic direction, QA and overall client success.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead day-to-day client communications, meetings and strategic discussions
* Develop short and medium-term performance strategies aligned to client business goals
* Create, implement or QA media plans across Meta, Google and TikTok
* Oversee campaign pacing, optimisation recommendations and reporting
* Work with media publishers across print, digital, OOH and programmatic campaigns
* Collaborate with Creative, Tech and offshore teams to coordinate delivery
* Support longer-term strategic planning alongside the Client Lead
* Surface new media opportunities and channel recommendations proactively
* Manage project timelines, rollout plans and campaign milestones
* Pull reporting data and develop monthly and quarterly reports using GA4 and Looker Studio
* Support community management and organic social strategy where required
* Assist with publisher and partner administration including assets, URLs and campaign coordination
What We're Looking For Required Experience
* Strong client management experience within an agency or media environment
* Proven performance marketing expertise with strategic and hands‐on capability
* Experience planning and buying media across Meta, Google and TikTok
* Strong understanding of campaign optimisation, reporting and KPI management
* Experience using GA4 and Looker Studio for cross‐channel reporting
* Experience managing integrated media campaigns including print, digital, OOH and programmatic
* Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
* Experience working cross‐functionally with creative, technical and offshore delivery teams
* Experience developing organic Facebook content and/or strategy
