Overview:
The position of Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity to work in the Sustaining NSW Families program. This role will involve working with families to provide high-quality, client-centered care and contributing to the development of evidence-based nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert clinical guidance and support to registered nurses and other healthcare professionals working within the Sustaining NSW Families program
* Develop and implement effective education programs for staff and clients to improve health outcomes and reduce hospital admissions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver comprehensive care services that meet the needs of vulnerable populations
* Conduct research and evaluation activities to inform best practice in child and family health nursing and contribute to policy development at a local, state, and national level
Requirements:
* Appropriate postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health Nursing
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
* At least three years' experience in a clinical area related to child and family health nursing
* Working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child and family health care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
