Senior Physician Leader
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional patient care and lead the provision of ID services across Northern Tasmania.
* Develop and implement antibiotic stewardship programs to drive quality improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance critical care ID services and provide specialist advice.
* Contribute to research projects, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety endeavors.
* Engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching with strong ties to the University of Tasmania Medical School.
* Optional: participate in Clinical Microbiology duties.
Requirements:
* FRACP ID or equivalent fellowship training in Infectious Diseases.
* Proven leadership experience in clinical and/or academic settings.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
* Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and continuous professional development.
