Synergie is looking for a hands‐on, commercially driven Business Manager to lead and grow our Central Queensland operation across Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald and Mackay.
This is not a behind‐the‐desk leadership role. We're looking for a strong operator who can drive sales, build client relationships, lead from the front, and support a growing blue‐collar recruitment business on the ground.
You'll take ownership of an established branch, managing a small team while focusing on business development, client growth, operational delivery, and workforce safety.
What you'll be doing:
* Driving new business development and growing existing client partnerships
* Leading from the front across sales, recruitment delivery, and operations
* Managing and mentoring a small team of consultants
* Supporting workforce planning, site visits, and client engagement across the region
* Building a high‐performing branch with future team growth in mind
* Maintaining strong safety and compliance standards across operations
What we're looking for:
* Strong leadership experience within recruitment, labour hire, staffing, or workforce solutions
* Proven business development and client management capability
* A hands‐on operator who enjoys being out with clients and teams
* Ability to lead and grow a small branch environment
* Someone commercially driven, resilient, and highly accountable
* Local Central QLD market knowledge or established regional networks highly regarded
