Job Description
* Manage all aspects of the BESS project from initiation to completion from a client side perspective.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
* Monitor project progress and address any challenges or risks effectively.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the energy and natural resources sector.
* Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
* Foster a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful applicant should have:
* Proven experience in project management, particularly within the renewable energy industry with Australian project experience.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field.
* Strong understanding and prior experience of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects within Australia.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
* Ability to identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
* Strong communication and reporting skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* A commitment to safety and sustainability practices in project execution.
The role will initially work from one of the organisations offices, located in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid working conditions during the initial set up phase of the project. Once the project is under construction, it is expected that this role will then mobilise to site, working Mon-Fri on site. Accommodation will be provided during this phase.
