About the role
The Maintenance Manager is a full-time permanent position, based at Schofield. Reporting to Operations Manager you will be a hands-on collaborative leader & your role will be to plan, schedule and monitor all maintenance activities and foster cross functional teamwork.
**In this role you will**:
- Lead the Maintenance team to ensure effective operation of the site to maximise efficiency and cost.
- Effectively managing maintenance activities within allocated costs.
- Manage all service contractors to comply with WSHE requirements
- Planning and scheduling maintenance and shutdowns as required to achieve KPI targets
What you bring to the role
- Tertiary/formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications
- Solid background in Maintenance/Engineering Management experience within a manufacturing operations environment
- Experience in successfully leading a Maintenance team & the ability to drive/improve a strong culture
- Sound understanding of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
- Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and knowledge of wide variety of equipment
- Strong focus around safety
