Top‑Tier Australian Law Firm | Melbourne
A top‑tier Australian law firm is continuing to grow its corporate practice and is seeking a high‑calibre Associate or Senior Associate to join its Melbourne team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high‑performing and collegiate corporate practice, advising on complex, high‑value and strategically significant corporate transactions for leading clients in the Australian market.
The Practice
The team is regularly instructed on major corporate transactions and is recognised for the quality, sophistication and commerciality of its work.
It advises leading Australian and international corporates, private equity sponsors and financial institutions across a wide range of matters, including public and private M&A, capital markets transactions and broader corporate advisory work.
The practice operates in a collaborative, multi‑office environment, enabling associates to work closely with partners and colleagues across related disciplines such as Banking & Finance, Tax and Funds, and to play an active role on large, multi‑faceted transactions.
The Role
Associates are exposed to a broad mix of corporate work, including public and private M&A, capital markets matters and corporate governance and advisory work. The platform supports development across multiple workstreams, with increasing responsibility on complex transactions, direct client interaction and opportunities to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
The team advises across a diverse range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, resources, financial services, technology, healthcare, media and consumer markets.
This is a permanent, full‑time position. The firm operates a hybrid working model, with flexibility available depending on role and team requirements.
