The Role
The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff, including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within budget; maintaining and stock‐taking cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the college, including setting the security alarm system; and conducting inspections with the Manager Corporate Services.
The successful applicant will have keen attention to detail, be organised, reliable, and punctual, and will work well both individually and as part of a team. Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices is essential.
