Operations Manager - New Machines Mining
The Operations Manager will lead safety culture, develop and support teams, manage operational efficiency, oversee financial performance, strategic planning, customer and stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, reward and recognition.
* Lead a strong safety-first environment through leadership behaviours and compliance with safety metrics.
* Build capability, engagement, and accountability across multi-functional teams through communication, talent management, and succession planning.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase profitability while delivering service excellence.
* Manage budgets, monitor financial metrics, and ensure cost-effective operations across allocated business units.
* Develop and implement 2-3 year operational plans aligned with corporate goals and long-term business strategy.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, secure new revenue opportunities, and improve customer loyalty.
* Work with peers across business groups to ensure alignment, resource optimisation, and delivery of operational plans.
* Promote a culture of innovation and embed continuous improvement practices to challenge existing processes and drive transformation.
* Establish programs that value employee contributions, improve retention, and foster a positive workplace culture.
