Cairns Adventure Group are on the hunt for a Business Development Manager Cairns Adventure Group are a locally owned and family operated Adventure Tourism company operating since 1986. We specialise in water-based tours such as White-Water Rafting, River Tubing and Jetboating, and also rainforest experience day trips with Tablelands Waterfalls tours and Cape Tribulation, Daintree and Mossman Gorge tours. Cairns Adventure Group is the parent company for Foaming Fury, Raging Thunder Adventures, RnR Rafting, Aussie Drifterz, Waterfall Wanderers, Active Tropics Explorer along with Bad Fishy, Cairns Boat Hire and Cairns River Cruises.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing growth strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets.
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairns, QLD.
What You'll Do: Sales Strategy: Work with the CMO to execute the sales strategy for local, domestic, and international markets. Set and hit sales targets, implement pricing strategies, and keep track of performance.CRM Management: Ensure data in the CRM system is accurate, and make sure the deal pipeline is being used effectively.Revenue Forecasting: Help analyse sales trends, forecast revenue, and assist with budgeting and resource allocation.Reporting: Provide regular sales reports to the CMO, highlighting key metrics and performance.Price Negotiation: Negotiate deals with clients and partners to maximise revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability.Team Management: Lead the BD team, set targets, and support their development to hit KPIs and sales goals.Product Knowledge: Stay on top of our tours and services, and make sure the team can confidently sell them.Budgeting: Help set and manage budgets to ensure maximum ROI.Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients and partners to drive growth and ensure satisfaction.What We're Looking For: Solid experience in sales strategy and business development.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to lead a team and hit targets.Knowledge of CRM systems and sales forecasting.Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.Desirable: Higher Education in Tourism, Sales, Business Development or related fields.Why Join Us?
