Specialist Nurse Leader
The role of a Specialist Nurse Leader in Violence, Abuse and Neglect is to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery.
This position will work in partnership with colleagues, other health staff, police service and the judicial system to ensure the provision of culturally safe integrated healthcare, forensic documentation and evidence collection for patients presenting with concerns of sexual assault.
As part of this role, you will be expected to participate in on-call rosters, regular team meetings, quality improvement activities, administrative tasks, research and education delivery as appropriate.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery.
* Working in partnership with colleagues, other health staff, police service and the judicial system to ensure the provision of culturally safe integrated healthcare, forensic documentation and evidence collection for patients presenting with concerns of sexual assault.
