The Role
We're on the lookout for a hands-on Distillery Operator to join our regional team.
This is a practical, outdoors role where no two days are the same.
You'll operate machinery, support the distillation process, and help keep the site running safely and smoothly.
Boiler experience is a bonus—but if you've worked with farm machinery, mechanical equipment, or maintenance work and want to learn, we'll train you.
If you enjoy working with your hands, taking pride in a job well done, and being part of a small, tight-knit crew, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing
Operating boilers, distillery equipment, and farm machinery (tractor, forklift, telehandler, vat trailers)
Supporting distillation processes, including biomass handling and oil preparation
Weighing, recording, and preparing eucalyptus oil for dispatch
Carrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs
Following safety procedures, completing logs, and joining toolbox talks
Supporting harvest and farm operations when needed
About You
You're practical, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a regional setting.
Ideally, you'll bring:
A current Victorian driver's licence (essential)
Experience in agriculture, forestry, horticulture, or machinery operation
Mechanical aptitude and confidence with basic repairs
A safety-first mindset
Willing to learn new skills and become multi-skilled
Boiler, forklift, or telehandler licences are great to have—but not essential.
