About This Role
We are seeking experienced individuals as well as those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background who are keen to explore a new career in the field of network installation and maintenance.
This is an autonomous position where you will play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across all nbn technologies, focusing on installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services.
You'll have the opportunity to work in multiple environments both internal and external but predominantly inside the customer's premises.
Your typical day could include any or all of the below functions while delivering exceptional customer service within your role:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
What We're Looking For
A large part of this role is working in customers premises, so it will also be important that you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated.
Transferable skills such as communication and problem-solving skills will be highly valued.
