About The Job
Vasse Salvos Stores are looking for a Store Manager to efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of one retail site to maximise sales and profitability. You will drive and lead the team whilst providing an inspiring in-store experience for customers and community members.
Reporting to the Area Manager, this is a permanent, full-time role located in Vasse, WA.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive store success - Lead retail operations to hit sales and surplus targets.
* Maximise stock efficiency ensuring all products are ordered, priced, and displayed according to Salvos Stores' standards and values.
* Inspire and lead a team of employees and volunteers, with regular training and performance feedback.
* Keep budgets on track, managing rosters and wages to ensure cost efficiency.
* Boost volunteer engagement, building a passionate, committed team.
* Build strong community connections, working with local Salvation Army groups, councils, and community partners.
About You
* Management experience in a retail setting (required).
* Customer service experience.
* Excellent people leadership and management skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience using Workday HCM system (highly regarded).
* Alignment with The Salvation Army Mission and Values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
