The Operating Suites at Dandenong Hospital are an eight theatre complex catering for a wide variety of patient specialties.

**About the Role**
The Theatre Technician team has a commitment in delivering excellent quality service and engendering towards best practices. Theatre Technicians provide efficient, high quality service and care in patient focused environment through effective and committed teamwork in a safe working environment.
The position is responsible for:
- Positioning and preparation of patients for surgery
- Setting up each operating theatre with specialty/surgery specific equipment
- Ensuring all equipment is functioning and correctly maintained
- Cleaning of equipment in accordance with Monash Health and manufacturers guidelines
**About You**:
Participate and co-operate in consultative processes to improve health and safety
Observe safe working practices and as far as you are able, protect your own and others' health and safety
You are required to have:
- Grade 1-3 Theatre Technician is a Certificate III/IV in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support)
- Grade 4 Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) or equivalent
