Primary Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and test plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
* Assist licensed plumber with drainage, water supply, gas fitting, and sanitary systems.
* Interpret plans and specifications for plumbing layouts and installations.
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and WHS protocols.
* Record job details including time, materials, and site conditions (often via apps like ServiceM8).
* Report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
* Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
* White Card (Construction Induction).
* A team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
* Willingness to grow with the business and take on responsibility.
* Professional conduct, punctuality, and respect for supervisor, clients and colleagues.

Training & Development
* Completing Certificate III in Plumbing through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
* Where relevant, attend off-the-job training and provide evidence of progress.
* Maintain apprenticeship logbooks and competency records.
* Participate in toolbox meetings and ongoing skill development.

Supervision & Work Conditions
* Work under supervision of a licensed plumber and/or Proprietor.
* Where competent, perform tasks independently.
* Rotate across varied job sites and working conditions.
* May be required to travel or work overtime/weekends.
* Supportive team environment with experienced tradespeople.
* Ongoing mentorship to help you complete your apprenticeship.
* Exposure to a wide range of plumbing systems and projects.

Skills & Requirements
* Completion of Year 10 (Maths & English preferred)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Responsible attitude toward timekeeping and safety.
* Physically fit for manual work and tool handling.
* Ownership of the basic plumbing tools to be used on-the-job.
* PPE ready: boots, hi-vis, gloves, glasses, hard hat.
