Job Title: Fleet Logistics Coordinator
Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resource allocation to ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable and sustainable service to customers. This involves coordinating daily pickups and deliveries, allocating jobs, liaising with drivers and optimising fleet operations to meet customer service requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards, company policies and Codes of Practice.
* Monitor scheduled pickups and deliveries, updating customers and relevant personnel promptly if planned requirements cannot be achieved.
* Track agreed pickup/delivery times to meet customer service demands and optimise fleet resources.
* Allocate labour and equipment efficiently to meet daily work requirements.
* Minimise exposure to rail line haul late cancellation fees, no-show fees and storage charges.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in fleet operations and a strong understanding of transport and logistics environments.
* Ability to integrate customer requirements with business needs.
* Experience developing and implementing service schedules aligned with customer needs.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Regulations and ability to implement them.
* Understanding of Chain of Responsibility legislative requirements.
