About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospital Pathology Collector to join our team. As a key member of our hospital team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collecting blood and non-blood samples across various wards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with doctors, nurses, and patients to understand their needs and requirements.
* Collecting samples with care and attention, including difficult bleeds and AGB's.
* Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Pathology Collector who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, be professional and proactive in your approach, and have a patient-centred focus.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy, ideally with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a nursing background. They will also hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one, and meet the necessary vaccination requirements.
