Position Summary
Due to significant growth across the business, Castle Group are continuing to expand their Investment Team and are looking to add additional talent to support the next phase.
The Investment Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic investment and development initiatives across a highly diversified portfolio spanning real estate development, energy infrastructure, data centres, hospitality, funds management and private equity‐style transactions. This is a rare opportunity to gain exposure across multiple real asset classes within an integrated investment platform.
Working directly with an experienced Investment Manager, you will gain hands‐on involvement across the full investment lifecycle – from origination and underwriting through to execution and portfolio optimisation. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders across Acquisitions, Capital Strategy, Treasury and Development teams, contributing to high‐level capital allocation decisions and group‐wide strategy.

Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Financial Modelling
* Build institutional‐grade financial models to assess project feasibility, evaluate investment returns, and support capital structuring.
* Undertake detailed commercial analysis across sectors including property development, infrastructure, funds management, and private equity.
* Apply private equity‐style thinking to assess business models, growth strategies, and exit scenarios.
Transaction Execution & Due Diligence
* Support due diligence processes for acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital raisings.
* Assist with transaction structuring and coordination of external advisors (legal, tax, consultants).
Materials & Stakeholder Communication
* Prepare high‐quality investment materials including pitch decks, investment memorandums, and internal board papers.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as capital partners, legal advisors, and consultants.
Research & Strategic Insights
* Monitor macro trends, sector dynamics, and transaction benchmarks to support investment decisions and portfolio strategy.
* Assist in pipeline tracking, performance reporting, and post‐investment analysis.
Knowledge and Skills
* 4–6 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, property development, energy or digital infrastructure, or a related field.
* Advanced financial modelling capability, including building feasibility and DCF models from scratch (property & infrastructure).
* Strong commercial judgement and analytical rigour, with the ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing institutional‐quality investment materials.
* Property sector exposure is important; infrastructure or private equity experience is highly regarded.
* Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools (e.g. Power BI, GIS, generative AI tools, PowerPoint) is advantageous.
Education
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Property, Commerce, or a related discipline.
* Progress toward professional accreditation (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA) will be viewed favorably.
