About the role
We're seeking an experienced and passionate Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team at TalkTide Speech Therapy in Adelaide, SA. As a part-time Speech Therapist, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our diverse range of clients, helping them achieve their communication and health goals.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify client needs
* Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to address a variety of speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties.
* Collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy
* Maintaining detailed client records and progress notes
* Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices
* Advocating for client needs and providing support and education to families and caregivers
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or Speech-Language Therapy
* Registered or eligible for registration with Speech Pathology Australia
* Minimum of 1 year experience as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in administering and interpreting standardised assessments
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective therapy programs
* Passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with communication difficulties
