About the Role
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Swastik's product range, visiting retail stores, generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring strong brand presence in the market.
This role suits someone who understands Indian grocery products and can confidently communicate with retailers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
* Promote and sell Swastik Imports & Exports' full product range to retailers.
* Visit Indian grocery stores, supermarkets, and convenience stores regularly.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.
* Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Customer Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with retail clients.
* Provide product information, pricing, and promotional updates.
* Handle customer queries, feedback, and service issues professionally.
Product & Market Knowledge
* Maintain strong understanding of Indian grocery items, brands, and market trends.
* Educate retailers about new products, offers, and seasonal items.
* Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights.
Order & Account Management
* Take orders accurately and ensure timely follow‑ups.
* Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth deliveries.
* Maintain proper records of visits, sales, and customer interactions.
Brand Representation
* Represent Swastik Imports & Exports professionally in the market.
* Support promotional activities, product launches, and trade events.
* Ensure retailers display and promote Swastik products effectively.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in Indian grocery, FMCG, or wholesale sales (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Indian food products, brands, and customer preferences.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Valid Australian driver's licence.
* Ability to speak Hindi, Punjabi, or Gujarati is an advantage (not mandatory).
