About the role

AGL has an exciting newly created opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join our Hydro team based in Mount Beauty in North‐East Victoria.

In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the planning, coordination and execution of operations, outages and Permit to Work systems that support our Hydro sites and remote operations teams across the business.Location: Mount Beauty offers an exceptional lifestyle, set against the backdrop of the Alpine National Park, with easy access to outdoor adventure, strong community connections and a lifestyle that appeals to both individuals and families seeking balance.

What you'll be doing:

Managing the safe and efficient delivery of operational coordination across the Hydro Business UnitGoverning and managing AGL Hydro's centralised Permit to Work (PTW) system, including application review and approvalsCoordinating outages, change requests and plant access activities to minimise operational impactsSupporting the ongoing management and improvement of assets in line with AGL's HSE Management SystemPerforming remote monitoring of plant in relation to access and isolation requirementsCoordinating and directing sequenced switching activities, including engagement with external agencies and networksWorking closely with site teams, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure safe systems of work across ownership boundariesWhat you'll bring:
