Site Safety Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Safety Specialist to join our team at a major customer site in Brisbane. This role involves representing the company, providing WHSE advisory services, and driving safety initiatives.
This is a key role that requires overseeing risk and injury management practices, conducting site inspections, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
About You
* You will need a Diploma or above in Work Health & Safety (WHSE) and at least 5 years experience on construction or project sites in a similar role.
* A strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with knowledge of material handling equipment is highly desirable.
* Strong computer skills in MS office products are also essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Represent, oversee, maintain and improve all WHSE related activities at the site.
2. Provide WHSE advisory services to the project team.
3. Assist the project team with safe management of subcontractor activities.
