About the Role:
TheNorthern Adelaide Local Health Networkis seeking a passionate andexperienced Senior Psychologist to join our Older Persons Mental Health team atWard 1H, Lyell McEwin Hospital.
In this role you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and beresponsible for providing psychology assessment and evidence-based treatmentservices to older adults.
As a Senior Psychologist, you will be a clinical leader and be in aposition to contribute to the development of service aims and objectives incollaboration with other team members. You may also provide orientation,supervision and support to staff and volunteers; contribute to research andevaluation of psychological practice; and promote new information anddevelopment in the field of psychology.
Training and supervision in the use of a range of assessments andtherapies is provided on an ongoing basis.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree(Master of Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by thePsyBA), hold general registration with the PsyBA, be endorsed in ClinicalPsychology and hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels ofsupervision (primary and secondary).
