Design & Engineering
CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. We provide end-to-end engineering solutions for high-voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia's renewable energy transition.
Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real-world feedback. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we deliver solutions that support a stable, reliable, and sustainable energy future.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking two experienced Commissioning Officers/Engineers to join our expanding South Australian Commissioning team, based at our Wingfield facility.
This is a unique opportunity for commissioning professionals looking for stability and work-life balance, with all work conducted locally - no site travel or rostered swings. Working Monday to Friday, you'll return home every night, with attractive overtime available and occasional weekend work.
In this role, you will be responsible for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of high-voltage electrical systems, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
As someone with a keen eye for detail, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards across all testing activities, contributing to the safe and successful delivery of HV projects.

About You Desired Skills and Experience
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess
* Qualifications in an Electrical trade or Electrical Engineering
* Previous experience commissioning/testing with HV substations
* Ability to promote a high standard of safety
* Australian Drivers Licence
