About the role
We are currently growing our construction side, specialising in high quality new builds, refurbishment, and remedial works.
What you will be doing on a day to day basis:
* Run multiple sites from commencement to handover
* On tools completing standard carpentry works where required.
* Coordinate trades, materials and site schedules to keep projects movingL
* Lead daily prestart, toolbox talks and maintain site safety compliance
* Daily site walk through to identify site defects and maintain strict quality control
* Keep sites clean and secured at all times.
Skills and experience
* Cert III in Carpentry
* Cert IV in Building & Construction (or equivalent)
* Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current Australian Driver’s Licence
* All relevant QLD carpentry licences required to legally perform works
* Your own full set of hand tools and power tools to complete standard carpentry tasks
* Reliable personal vehicle suitable for transporting tools and materials
* Strong understanding of NCC / BCA and WHS requirements
* Proven ability to read and interpret plans, scopes, and finish schedules
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Comfortable using digital project management tools and site-based software
* 3+ years’ experience running sites as a Foreman / Supervisor / Carpenter
* Previous experience in the Residential and Commercial Building and Renovation Sector (highly regarded)
* Confident dealing with clients in occupied premises
* Strong organisation and time management
* A calm, solutions-focused mindset — renovations rarely go perfectly
