The Opportunity
Our client, a respected GP‐owned, multi‐site general practice is now seeking their next leading Practice Manager to join their thriving, highly successful, inner city practice. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a rare opportunity to lead an established practice entering an exciting phase of expansion, including the development of a third clinic site.
This role extends well beyond day‐to‐day practice operations and will suit a commercially minded leader who enjoys building systems, developing teams, driving revenue growth and contributing to strategic business decisions in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead operational management across multiple practice sites, ensuring consistent service delivery, workflow efficiency and high‐performance standards.
* Partner with senior leadership to support practice growth, new clinic development and operational readiness for expansion opportunities.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance and development of administrative, nursing and support teams.
* Review, develop and implement scalable systems, policies, SOPs and processes to support a growing healthcare group.
* Drive billing optimisation, MBS compliance and revenue improvement initiatives using data and analytics insights.
* Lead RACGP accreditation activities and ensure compliance across HR, WHS, privacy and healthcare regulations.
* Prepare operational and KPI reporting, manage supplier relationships and contribute to budgeting and financial oversight.
About You
You are an experienced Practice Manager with a proven track record in general practice or primary healthcare leadership. You combine strong commercial acumen with excellent people leadership skills and are confident managing complex operations across multiple stakeholders.
You thrive in busy, fast‐paced environments undergoing growth and change and bring a proactive, solutions‐focused approach to leadership. Experience with Best Practice, Employment Hero, Cubiko and RACGP accreditation processes will be highly regarded. A strong knowledge of MBS is essential.
