As a Planner, you will report to the Senior Planner.
Your responsibilities include updating, collating, and interpreting analysis and data to provide solutions aligned with THE ICONIC strategy.
You will collaborate closely with Buying counterparts to optimize in-season trading and identify growth opportunities for THE ICONIC through strategic planning.
This role requires commercial awareness, excellent relationship skills, and flexibility to adapt to business needs.
Additionally, you will work with finance, operations, and tech teams to identify opportunities, achieve objectives, and streamline processes and systems.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join our ICONIC Own Brand team.About the RoleConfidently communicate with senior management, leveraging influence and knowledge to drive departmental growth.Manage the BUB process collaboratively with Buying to meet deadlines and align brand and department strategies.Oversee the WSSI, take ownership of forecasting, and present during reforecast meetings.Prioritize workload effectively for yourself and your team during peak planning periods.Review in-season and post-season performance, providing recommendations for focus, growth, and decline areas.Ensure all tools and reports are set up to support fact-based decision-making by the buying team.Identify problem areas to mitigate risks and take proactive actions.Pursue continuous improvement in processes, systems, and tools within your department.Drive department strategy and contribute to broader segment strategies.Develop mid to long-term strategic plans to enhance growth and profitability.Propose actions based on future economic or social trend analyses to address potential concerns.Collaborate with the Planning Manager and Buyers to maximize seasonal profit.Monitor department performance, implement plans for underperforming categories, and identify opportunities for growth.Recommend marketing campaigns to the planning manager, ensuring promotional activities optimize margins.Key SkillsBuild strong cross-departmental relationships, especially with Category Management teams.Work collaboratively across functions, establishing key relationships with relevant departments.Embrace and lead positive change within the department.
