Bridge Engineer – Inspections & Assessments
Location: East Coast, Australia (NSW / QLD / VIC / ACT) – Travel Required
Type: Full‑time, Multiple Roles Available
We’re seeking experienced Bridge Engineers to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 inspections and structural assessments across a variety of road, rail, and pedestrian bridges. The roles involve a mix of field‑based inspections and office‑based reporting, with regular travel along Australia’s east coast.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Level 2 and 3 bridge inspections and prepare technical reports.
Undertake structural assessments and recommend maintenance or remediation actions.
Plan and coordinate inspection programs, including safety and logistics.
Collect and manage inspection data in asset management systems.
Liaise with clients and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
2‑5+ years’ experience in bridge inspection, assessment, or structural engineering.
Knowledge of Austroads, AS5100, and relevant state transport authority standards.
Robust reporting and communication skills.
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
White Card and safety training (Confined Space, Working at Heights) desirable.
