Job Description

Calling all Graduates

Are you passionate about technology, risk management, and ensuring robust IT governance? Do you enjoy problem-solving and want to play a key role in protecting business systems and data? If so, the Graduate IT Controls Compliance Auditor role at Sage could be the perfect opportunity for you

This role supports the delivery of Sage's IT Controls and Compliance programme, offering exposure to a wide range of IT systems, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory frameworks. You'll develop essential auditing and compliance skills, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and contribute to strengthening Sage's IT control environment.

As part of our commitment to social impact, we also offer five fully paid days per year for volunteering, fundraising, or other charitable work through the Sage Foundation.

This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle office. As this is a global role, occasional flexing of work hours may be required.

What will the programme look like?

As a Graduate IT Controls Compliance Auditor, you will help deliver Sage's IT audit and compliance initiatives, working alongside internal teams and external partners. You'll gain hands-on experience in evaluating IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, and cybersecurity frameworks. Alongside this, you'll take part in our Ignite learning programme, designed to set your career up for success.

Key Responsibilities

What will make me successful?

• A motivated individual with a strong interest in IT systems, cybersecurity, and compliance.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

• A desire to learn about IT risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

We welcome graduates from a variety of disciplines, especially Computer Science, Risk Management, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields. If you have the right mindset and enthusiasm, you belong at Sage—just as you are.

What can I expect from the process?

1. Apply online with your CV
2. Complete a gamified, science-driven assessment via Harver
3. Record a video interview if shortlisted
4. Attend an Assessment Centre if successful
5. Join our Graduate Programme on 1st October 2025

We appreciate your patience as we review applications. If you need any adjustments to support you during the process, please contact us at earlycareers@sage.com.
