Its focus is on maximising financial returns and societal impact.You will assist with managing a portfolio of unlisted real estate investments. The role will involve quantitative and qualitative research to complement and support portfolio management and investment decisions.Key Accountabilities will include:Assist in the monitoring and proactive management of existing property fund investments, including attending manager meetings, unit holder meetings and asset inspections;Market research and monitoring property investment market fundamentals;Financial analysis and assist with investment due diligence at a fund level;Preparing, maintaining and improving investment models, spreadsheets;Monthly Performance reconciliation, including liaising with fund managers to ensure monthly performance data is received on time and exceptions are resolved;Co-ordinating and preparing timely, accurate and well-presented property client and marketing commentary;Developing and maintaining effective working relationships across the investment team, and external fund managers;Supporting the smooth interaction of the Property asset class with the Investment Operations and Implementation Teams concerning portfolio management, capital calls and trading activities including the accurate reporting of portfolio positions, custodian notifications and cash flows.Technical Skills & Qualifications required include:Finance/Business/Property degree qualified, with CFA, CIPM or other relevant qualifications highly desirable;Experience with property valuations, investment management or asset consulting;Financial modelling skills are highly desirable;Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills;Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VBA and macros);Highly organised, collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail.This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a developing investment professional to join the property team of a leading funds management organisation.If you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact Matt McGilton on 0439 028 222 at Kaizen Recruitment or apply via the attached link.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement, Analyst, and ConsultingIndustriesInvestment Management and Financial Services
