About the Veterinary Receptionist Role
This role involves delivering exceptional customer service to clients and their pets, managing incoming calls and client interactions with poise and professionalism, and assisting with patient admissions, appointments, and practice software management.
You will also be responsible for processing payments, balancing tills, and handling stock management and ordering. Additionally, you will promote animal health products and educate clients on best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage front desk operations, including phone and email inquiries.
* Support administrative functions, such as data entry and record-keeping.
* Collaborate with veterinary and nursing teams for workflow efficiency.
* Maintain cleanliness of reception and consultation areas.
* Perform other duties as required by the clinic's needs.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the veterinary industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
* Willingness to learn about animal health products and services.
