Key Functions:
* Assist senior engineers in the planning, design, and coordination of infrastructure projects, gaining practical insights and experience.
* Participate in meetings and liaise with various stakeholders to develop communication and coordination skills.
* Support the team in providing design advice, assessing infrastructure needs, and managing preliminary designs under the guidance of experienced engineers.
* Contribute to the development of grant applications and the assessment of business cases, learning the processes involved in securing funding for infrastructure projects.
Essential:
* Must be commencing second to last or last year of study in an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or related qualification to be eligible for this Cadetship.
* Basic understanding of Civil Engineering Design
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Desirable:
* Experience in Flood Modelling and/or Traffic Modelling
