* $90,000 – $120,000 (pro rata if part-time)
Enviro-dynamics is an environmental organisation delivering large-scale restoration and land management projects across Tasmania. As we expand — including launching a ranger/apprenticeship program — we are seeking an experienced HR & WHS Advisor to strengthen our people systems and ensure our workplace health and safety frameworks are practical and compliant.
This is a hands-on role, primarily focused on HR, with WHS as an important secondary component.
About the Role
You will support and improve our HR systems, manage employment contracts and compliance, and ensure our WHS systems are up to date and workable. You’ll work closely with Directors, project managers and field teams to provide clear, practical support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing employment contracts, renewals and HR documentation
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance processes
* Ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and awards
* Reviewing and improving HR policies and procedures
* Establishing HR systems for a new ranger/apprenticeship program
* Tracking training, certifications and compliance requirements
* Reviewing and maintaining WHS policies, SWMS and risk systems
* Supporting incident reporting and follow-up processes
About You
You will have:
* Experience in HR advisory or HR coordination roles
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment law
* Experience managing contracts and compliance systems
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Clear communication skills and a practical approach
Desirable:
* WHS qualification or experience
* Experience with apprenticeships or workforce development programs
* Experience in environmental, NFP or field-based organisations
