This is a senior leadership role that oversees the implementation of our Child Safe Strategy. The successful candidate will champion best practice in child safeguarding across all services.
Main Responsibilities
 * Develop and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement in child safety, strengthen quality assurance systems, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
 * Provide expert guidance on child safe standards, reporting obligations, and high-risk safety matters to senior leaders and teams.
 * Evaluate organisational capability to assess and manage risks to children, including the management of child-related investigations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, or another human services discipline. They will also have strong experience leading workplace investigations and developing policy, programs, and strategy at a senior level.
A key requirement for this role is an in-depth understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards, Reportable Conduct Scheme, and mandatory reporting obligations.
