Technical Operations Specialist
The organization is seeking a skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the technical operations team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and installations in a high-availability datacenter environment.
* Candidates must have extensive experience providing technical support and installations in a datacenter environment.
* They must have a proven track record in break-fix support, hardware replacement, structured cabling, and managing installations while maintaining adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical support and installations, including break-fix tasks involving hardware, network, cabling, and rack deployments. They will also provide site coverage for Oracle OCI datacenter sites as part of a regional standby rotation and shift schedule.
* Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware in accordance with OCI standards and change management rules.
* Work within a ticket-based environment, prioritizing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continued technician activities in line with SLAs.
* Conduct system board-level repair and fault diagnosis to meet SLA requirements.
