Are you an experienced Procurement Specialist ready to deliver value through strategic sourcing and category management? We're seeking someone who can bring strong attention to detail, process discipline, and a proactive approach to supplier management. You'll develop and negotiate procurement contractual agreements and manage tendering processes in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, supporting multimillion‑dollar supply categories.
What you'll be doing
* Develop, negotiate, and execute best‑practice supplier sourcing strategies, considering risk, value, and reputation.
* Prepare tender documentation and manage tendering functions in consultation with key internal stakeholders.
* Compile, negotiate, execute, and manage supplier contracts.
* Develop and review scopes of work and technical specifications for procurement contracts.
* Apply best‑practice procedures, processes, and technology to implement supply category strategies and maximize economic value.
* Drive supplier strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver cost savings.
* Conduct regular supply market research to assess market structure, supplier strategies, pricing, opportunities, and threats.
* Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and drive supplier innovation.
What we're looking for
* Substantial experience and competency in a similar procurement specialist role, including end‑to‑end procurement processes, tender management, and contract negotiations.
* High level of numerical and analytical capability to drive supplier performance and value enhancement.
* Robust commercial negotiation and tactical skills within multimillion‑dollar categories.
* Accurate analytical skills and well‑developed strategic thinking.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated dispute resolution experience and competency.
