This opportunity includes an even-time roster.As a Field Service Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:* Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to a team of 16 Field Service Technicians.* Ensure safety standards are maintained.* Determine target hours for work required and communicate with field technicians.* Answer all field service enquires and calls for the Central Queensland Region.* Provide after hour's callout assistance.* Organise parts, labour, accommodation & tooling to conduct field repairs.* Coordinate team of tradesman & apprentices providing technical guidance & assistance.* Assist Field Technicians with in-depth diagnostic and Failure Analysis.* Participate and contribute to Continuous improvement ideas and execution of these ideas.* Manage changes to schedule and fitter availability when unforeseen absences present.* Ensuring maintenance is performed on all service trucks and associated tooling/equipment.* Work Collaboratively with the other Foremen and greater Field Service and service teams to ensure that all customer needs are met.Hastings Deering is proud to be one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally.
