What You'll Do
The Senior Copywriter role, within the Greenhouse Collective and Brand and Marketing team, is responsible for creating best‐in‐class copywriting. This role contributes to the Copywriting Chapter's mission of defining and managing optimized content for key customer touchpoints across paid, owned, and earned channels. The writer will work in a delivery squad in the Customer Identification and Personalisation Tribe (CIP) on Everyday Rewards assets and Greenhouse Collective projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Role Include
* Develop concepts and persuasive messaging: Create engaging, clear, and persuasive messaging for campaigns across the Woolworths Group Brand & Marketing Platform, aligning with brand strategy.
* Collaborate to deliver large‐scale campaigns: Work with the Greenhouse Collective and Brand and Marketing teams to launch complex, large‐scale campaigns to market.
* Lead world‐class digital delivery: Lead and execute world‐class work across multiple digital channels, including eDM, online banners, social, and push.
* Manage and coordinate projects: Coordinate multiple campaigns, ensuring quality control, meeting all deadlines, and achieving set targets.
* Understand marketing and maintain quality: Use a strong understanding of retail and performance marketing to deliver high‐quality, brand‐compliant copy and creative solutions.
What You'll Bring
* Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of copywriting experience within an agency or in‐house studio.
* Creative and Conceptual Skills: Excellent portfolio showing compelling storytelling. Requires sound editing, conceptual skills, and the ability to research and synthesize information.
* Communication and Collaboration: Must be a stellar collaborator with experience working on diverse/remote teams and exceptional communication/stakeholder management skills.
* Strategy and Presentation: Ability to develop, translate, and leverage strategic messages. Must confidently present creative ideas and direct others on content execution.
* Work Ethic: Self‐motivated, resourceful, and proactive, with aptitude for fast‐paced environments. Positive attitude driving quality and consistency.
