Safety Operations Manager
In this role, you will lead and manage the safety function and team to drive a culture of excellence in workplace safety. You will be responsible for embedding a proactive approach to safety management, ensuring that all operational activities are conducted with due regard for the health and well-being of employees and contractors.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing safety strategies and policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading training programs. They will be able to demonstrate expertise in safety regulations, standards, and best practices, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Safety Function: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
* Safety Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to measure safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of openness and transparency by engaging with employees, contractors, and external stakeholders on safety-related matters.
