As Senior Project Officer – Risk, will support the establishment of project governance, risk, and compliance functions within the organisation. Set up internal controls, risk management processes, governance structures, and compliance monitoring frameworks aligned with relevant regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
* Lead project regulatory compliance assessments and provide strategic advice
* Support and contribute to investigations and policy implementation activities
* Develop complex briefs presenting clear options and recommendations for decision
* Support investigations and undertake compliance assessments
* Lead cross-functional project delivery and establish service plans and standards
* Manage stakeholder consultation processes and maintain strong internal and external partnerships
Key Capabilities
* Proven experience in establishing or supporting project governance, risk, and compliance frameworks within a public or regulated environment.
* Strong knowledge of internal control systems, risk management processes, and compliance monitoring practices.
* Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulatory or government requirements.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
