BCI Sales is a leading provider of commercial vehicles, specialising in buses and trucks for various industries.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Parts Coordinator / Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic team at a leading bus & truck dealership. This is a dual-role position that combines front-line parts interpretation with hands-on warehouse duties, supporting both customer service and back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and identify parts for workshop technicians and external customers
Handle quotes, orders, and backorders using internal systems
Support the dispatch, receiving, and storage of parts in the warehouse
Pick and pack orders, unload deliveries, and manage stock locations
Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and stocktakes
Liaise with suppliers and coordinate with the procurement team
Ensure timely distribution of parts to the workshop and front counter
Provide professional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
What You Bring:
Previous experience as a parts interpreter or coordinator (truck, bus, or heavy vehicle industry preferred)
Hands-on warehouse or stores experience, including picking/packing and receiving
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong understanding of vehicle parts and catalogues
Good computer skills with the ability to manage inventory and order systems
A team player with a strong work ethic and customer-first attitude
