**About us**
Monash Health Foundation is the fundraising department within Monash Health. Responsible for building meaningful partnerships with our donors and soliciting philanthropic support to purchase new equipment, invest in programs, research and people to enable Monash Health to provide the best care to consumers and their families.
Monash Health is Victoria's largest public health service. We provide safe, high-quality care to one-quarter of Melbourne's population, across the entire lifespan, from pre-birth to end-of-life.

**About the role**
The Community Fundraising & Events Assistant is responsible for the supporting the delivery of the community fundraising & events program for the Monash Health Foundation and providing administration support to the Foundation team.
Key Result Areas will include:
- Successful delivery of community fundraising activities
- Successful planning, implementation and delivery of internal and external events
- Supporting schools fundraising activities
- Providing a friendly welcome to all guests and donors to the Foundation office as their first point of contact in person and on the phone

Combining your highly attuned customer service skills with your experience and /or understanding of the NFP or philanthropic sector, your goal will be to support the Monash Health Foundation to achieve its ambitious fundraising goals.

- Have the ability to develop and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including staff, volunteers, supporters of the Foundation;
- Can prioritise your own workload and demonstrated time management skills;
- Described as high energy, with a positive, can-do attitude.
**What you need**
- _An undergraduate qualification, or an equivalent, alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
Current Driver's Licence.
An understanding of the Australian philanthropic community.
Experience in donor stewardship.
