Customer Support (Day Time) – Streem
This full‐time role based in Surry Hills, NSW, Australia runs weekday shifts from 7am‐3pm and 8am‐4pm. The support function operates 24/7, and you will be a key player in providing outstanding experiences for our valued clients as the first point of contact.
Responsibilities
* Supporting current customers via phone, email and live chat to use and get the most from Streem's real‐time media intelligence platform.
* Supporting the Account Management team with day‐to‐day tasks, including data entry, brief building, brief exports and testing new products.
* Building new customer briefs and working alongside the Account Management team to deploy the Streem product to new customers.
* Producing, reviewing, and delivering media insights reports to customers and internal stakeholders using Streem's proprietary technologies.
* Collaborating with the Account Management and Operations teams, providing feedback regarding customer requests to ensure the platform meets their requirements.
* Producing transcripts, summaries, and downloadable media, and preparing media brief documentation for clients.
* Conducting routine data entry, database maintenance, quality control of news content through the platform, and exporting data for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
* 1–2 years' experience in a customer support or customer service role.
* Unshakable customer‐facing skills, with the ability to take initiative, adapt to changing situations and resolve challenges calmly.
* Ability to proactively manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to diverse non‐technical audiences.
* Strong desire to collaborate with teammates, learn new skills and contribute to a supportive team culture.
* Interest in and understanding of the Australian media landscape.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field (completed or in progress) – advantageous but not required.
* Previous experience within the media or news industries – advantageous but not required.
* Experience with media monitoring, intelligence or social listening tools – advantageous but not required.
* Confidence working with Excel, project management tools, CRM tools or Boolean queries – advantageous but not required.
