Property Contract Officer Job Description
We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Property Contract Officer in our Housing Property Service unit.
The successful candidate will provide contract and program management services, conducting pre-hand-over inspections on housing assets. To excel in this position, you will require a solid understanding of legislation, standards, and codes related to residential property construction, maintenance, and management.
* Manage contracts and programs for property-related services.
* Coordinate property-related projects, including budgeting and timelines.
As a Property Contract Officer, you will work closely with a supportive team, offering opportunities for career advancement in the Northern Territory Public Sector. Successful applicants with trade or tertiary qualifications will be appointed at a technical level, while others will be appointed at an administration level.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Management
* Maintain accurate records of property-related data and information.
* Monitor and report on property performance, including maintenance and repairs.
Contract and Program Management
* Develop and implement contracts and programs for property-related services.
* Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and legislative requirements.
Cultural Sensitivity
* Communicate effectively with Aboriginal tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
* Maintain cultural sensitivity in all interactions and dealings.
