Position Overview
This is a permanent part‐time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026 at Warwick Senior High School.
Responsibilities
* Prepare chemicals, equipment and materials for laboratory use.
* Design and construct teaching aids.
* Manage laboratory stocks, including ordering supplies and equipment.
* Coordinate with suppliers and complete annual stock‐takes in compliance with Departmental guidelines.
* Perform additional tasks as directed by the line manager.
Qualifications
* Experience working within a science laboratory in a secondary school.
* Solid knowledge of science subjects relevant to the secondary school curriculum.
* Demonstrated ability to design and construct experiments and equipment to support curriculum requirements.
* Well‐developed computer skills, including a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
* Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Organisational and time‐management skills and the ability to work independently.
