Overview

Early Childhood Educator

Both Certificate III and Diploma Positions available

Multiple Permanent Part and Full Time positions available

Salary: As per EEEA plus 12% Superannuation

Location: Morwell, Moe, Churchill, Traralgon, and surrounds

Do you want to make an IMPACT? We are looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our Preschool teams across Latrobe City.

About The Role

Latrobe City Council provides preschool programs at 25 services across our municipality. We are seeking enthusiastic educators to join our passionate preschool teams. As an Early Childhood Educator you will have the chance to directly influence and contribute to the early education and care of our smallest community members. Children are our primary focus; they are valued and supported to grow and develop in our safe and enriching environments.

You will work cooperatively and professionally as a member of a team to assist in the provision of a high quality developmentally appropriate educational programs, meeting the requirements of the National Quality Framework (National Quality Standards) and the Early Years Learning and Development Framework (5 learning outcomes).

Please note, location incentives may be available.

You will need:

* Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
* Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis
* Proven experience in supporting individual developmental needs, abilities and interest of all children in the program.
* Ability to work as a member of a cooperative team and to assist in developing good relationships and effective communication between families and Centre staff.
* Ability to communicate verbally or in writing any observations that may affect the children's activities and the running of the program.
* Demonstrated understanding of working with children with additional needs
