Our vision is to make Whittlesea 2040: A Place For All by ensuring our residents can enjoy access to local services, facilities and infrastructure.

Our staff are passionate, skilled and diverse, providing a great environment to work in and succeed.

The Role

As an Event Officer at PRACC, you will be the heartbeat of our operations, ensuring that every event runs like clockwork. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a vibrant, fast‐paced environment and have a knack for exceptional customer service. You will manage the intricacies of event setups and takedowns, provide superior food and beverage services, and ensure that our venue always shines in the best light. Your role is pivotal in guiding our guests through their event journey, resolving inquiries with a smile, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

In collaboration with our technical and ticketing teams, you will help orchestrate the symphony that is event management. From the first guest's arrival to the last light turned off, your attention to detail and ability to manage vendor relationships will uphold and enhance PRACC's reputation as a premier destination for arts and conventions.

The role will be required to work a roster of shifts throughout the week, evenings and weekends depending on event needs.

About you

You are a spirited and resourceful individual with a passion for the arts and events. Your excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effortlessly while maintaining composure are what set you apart. A natural problem‐solver, you are adept at anticipating needs and delivering solutions. You take pride in delivering top‐notch customer service and are committed to making every event memorable for our guests and stakeholders.

If you are ready to take centre stage in a role where no two days are the same, and you can truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you!
