Join our Commodities and Global Markets Central Business Credit team as a Junior Credit Risk Analyst, supporting various trading businesses across commodities, equities, fixed income and currencies, and listed futures.

**What role will you play?**
You will be responsible for all aspects of credit risk management for a diverse portfolio of counterparties trading with us, including the initial and ongoing assessment of the creditworthiness of counterparties. This will involve high quality written analysis, financial analysis, internal credit rating and loss given default determination and making recommendations on the size and tenor of credit limits to approves.
You will also perform annual credit reviews for counterparties in your portfolio, timely recommendations on new trade requests and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders in the business, legal, middle office and Line 2 Credit Risk.
You will work with these teams to negotiate trading agreements to ensure adequate credit risk mitigants are in place, undertake regular exposure analysis and monitoring, including investigation of any credit limit excesses and perform portfolio risk analysis to ascertain trends and changes in a business portfolio and aggregate risk profile.
**What you offer**
- 1-2 years experience in Credit Risk or related experience in a banking or finance environment supporting trading or markets-facing businesses
- Strong interest in financial markets

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Law.
