Woodlands Enterprises is a leading, family-owned and operated poultry business with a fully integrated operation spanning feed milling, farming, and processing. We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Feedmill Manager to lead our feedmill operations and play a critical role in supporting the performance and growth of our business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the end-to-end management of feedmill operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of poultry feed.

You will oversee production, logistics, quality assurance, maintenance coordination, and team leadership, while driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the mill.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all feedmill production activities to meet operational targets

* Develop and execute production schedules aligned to farm and customer demand

* Oversee raw material procurement, grain intake, storage, and stock control

* Ensure high standards of feed quality, batching accuracy, and process integrity

* Manage outloading, transport coordination, and delivery logistics

* Maintain and enforce Feed Safe HACCP and regulatory compliance requirements

* Drive a strong safety-first culture across all operations

* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team

* Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure plant reliability and minimise downtime

* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the mill

About You

You are a proven operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. You bring strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead teams effectively.

To be successful, you will have:

* Demonstrated experience in feed milling, manufacturing, or similar production environments

* Strong leadership and people management capability

* Experience managing complex production and logistics operations

* High attention to detail with a focus on quality and compliance

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Ability to balance efficiency, cost, and quality outcomes

* Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/scheduling systems

* Forklift licence
